Happy Birthday Dallin!
Dallin turned 14 years old on September 2. It was Labor Day this year and he had a terrific day! The day before his birthday (Sunday), Ryan and Malissa blessed their new little baby, Alice Faye, and Kristin made a cake to celebrate the 4 cousins who had birthdays that week. Such a darling cake! Thanks Kristin!

Dallin LOVES marshmallow pies, so I try to surprise him with a box every now and again.
This year, Dallin requested 2 new piano books for his present: The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario (both intermediate). What 14 year old asks for piano books for his birthday? Well, that was easy! He also got a new clarinet case, which I said was an "unofficial" bday present because he really did need one...He was excited about that as well...
We had the grandparents over that night for cake and ice cream. What a totally fun day!
Uncle Mike was in town for some work meetings, so he came too. It was so fun visiting with him and catching up.
Happy Birthday Dallin! We love you and are so proud of you! You rock! :)
