You go buy goggles so you can be prepared for the summer swimming lessons and outings......

You can't help but smile when you see one.
Getting his awards and treats. Right after she handed them to him, he dropped them all over the floor. It's not like he was the only one who dropped all his stuff.....oh wait a minute.....yes he was! OOPS! (He'll be fine, right?)

And here is my dog, Odie, staring intently out the window at the ducks. "Please let me go out there and GET THOSE DUCKS!" (Sorry, Odie, not a chance).

About a week ago, we noticed a duck in the street a few houses away from ours. Sadly, the Mommy duck got hit by a car and was killed. Nobody I've talked to knows exactly what happened. It is so sad because we still see the Daddy duck come and he's all by himself. Although some in my neighborhood have said that they have seen him with another male duck. But it's still just not right, ya know? We are saddened around here. And we will miss seeing the pair together every Spring.
Do any of you know if ducks have companions for life or will this Daddy duck find someone else? Just curious. Life just won't be the same without them.....

And here is what I woke up to in the morning! The biggest smiley faced balloon I've ever seen. It made my day! Thanks honey! When the kids got home from school, we all went bowling. I did HORRIBLE! (nothing unusual). And Todd was happy because he got the high score.....but really wasn't anything to shout about in the end (sorry Todd). But we had a good time.
It was a great day, filled with many phone calls, emails, and comments on FB....thanks everyone for making it such a special day for me.
What happens now that I'm beginning my 40's? YIKES!
