The Jordan River Temple was rededicated in May, and we were able to attend several of the activities in relation to that historical event. We attended the Youth Celebration the night before the rededication in the Conference Center and it was so amazing! (I didn't take a picture of us! Duh!) The program was absolutely incredible. There are about 17000 youth in the Jordan River Temple district, so the conference center was filled with youth from those surrounding areas. Todd and I were able to sit on the main floor, right in the middle section, and we could see the stage very well. It was an incredible blessing to be able to go.

We also had the amazing opportunity to attend the rededication of the Jordan River Temple in the Celestial Room, where it actually took place. What a gift it was to be able to be in that room! Todd and I were given tickets to this event which had our names typed on them beforehand. (Crazy!) When they were given to us, the guy said, "Don't lose these. They're your ticket into the Celestial Room." It was so cool!
Here are a couple of pictures taken after the rededication of the temple
And lastly, we were able to attend a temple session in the Jordan River Temple the following Monday morning (after the rededication.) It was amazing as well! The temple wasn't technically open to the public yet, so we were able to do a session with several other stake presidents and wives, and seventies and wives. It was totally awesome!
These pictures were taken outside after the session was over
It was an awe-inspiring 3 days of temple worship! We were very grateful and honored that we had the opportunity to attend all of these sacred events and we know that they were a once-in-a-lifetime gift. And now we have the Jordan River Temple open once again for us to partake of the blessings that come from being in that holy house, and for doing the work of the Lord upon the earth today. Yippee! :) I love to see the Temple!
