Right after Jacob turned 12, we decided to all go to the temple together to do baptisms. Jacob was really excited and I was too! There's nothing better than being with your family at the temple.
We drove downtown and picked up Todd since he was working right by the Salt Lake Temple.
However, when we tried to go into the temple, we were told that the baptistry was closed. What? We were bummed, but decided to drive on to the Bountiful temple instead. We are so lucky and blessed to live so close to so many temples! Here are the kids in front of the Bountiful Temple.
We had such a great time. After the baptisms, we all went to dinner at the temple cafeteria, since that's our tradition when someone goes to the temple for the first time. It was a wonderful day and one I hope I never forget!
