This post is going to be all about Brandon! He's had so much going on lately! This first picture was taken the night of Junior Prom before he left to pick up his date, Stacy Bevan (we call her "Agnes"--just for fun! All of the girls my boys like have a "code" name.) HA! :)
And these next few pictures were taken at her house. Brandon ordered his own corsage this time, but he didn't realize that it was a "tie" wrist corsage. You can see him struggling a little. Remember those days? (I so wish I'd been there to see it!) :)
A little bit closer...
Still working on it... :)
Hey, he got it! And now it's her turn to pin the flower on Brandon.
And here they are together...all ready to go! Look how beautiful she is and her dress is amazing! Ahhh, so cute!
I'm assuming this was at dinner. Stacy, Bridget, Kathryn
I think Brandon had a great time. They went to dinner at a place in Gateway that had a live band playing (his kind-of thing). He said it was really cool, although it was quite pricey! But when you're a Senior, that doesn't matter too much (especially if your parents are helping cover the bill)! :)
The next event that Brandon was involved in was Concerto Night. It was a big deal and he was AWESOME!
There were 10 numbers all together, 11 soloists (one was a duet). They were all absolutely amazing!
These are the pictures of each of the performers. They were displayed on a table outside of the auditorium. (Brandon's on the left.)

Brandon's friend, Sam Hurst, is the one on the left in this picture. He played the clarinet and he ROCKED it! (He was seriously one of my favorites!)
This is a lousy picture of Brandon, but it was taken at the end of the night, after all the performances were over.
See that big smile? So handsome! (Plus the concert is over, so Brandon is quite happy at this point!)
I wish this picture wasn't blurry. Left to right, there's Brandon, (some photo-bomber in the back--Noah Brown), Amber (Brandon's band teacher) and Hunter Durfee.
This picture cracks me up! Brandon and I were trying to take a serious picture, but there's Hunter in the back photo-bombing it! It's the perfect photo-bomb though, don't you think? :)
So here's one without Hunter. Funny kid! :)
Todd and Brandon
Seriously the whole night was amazing! Every single performance was outstanding and I was in awe of each soloist! So much talent in one room!
This next event for Brandon involves the Sweethearts Dance! He was asked by "Agnes" (aka Stacy). She asked him in a really cute way. She dropped off this huge cookie!
That whole thing was made out of frosting! It was pretty awesome! Everyone had samples for several days and then we decided to freeze the "picture part" for another day. I will tell about the dance in another blog post, since it hasn't happened yet. :)
One last thing for Brandon is that he got a job! Yippee! His job at Riverton Music was temporary, even though he got to work there for an entire year. But after the second busy season, the job ended. So he hasn't worked since October. I think he got used to having a little extra cash around! :)
He's working in an orthodontic office now. He cleans/sterilizes the instruments for the assistants and makes sure everything is ready to go when the Orthodontist needs them. He's only been there for a few weeks, but I think he likes it. And he finally got his own name badge! (We told him he can't quit now!) HA!
Well, that's it for now. Looking ahead, I'm thinking that the next couple of posts could be about Brandon too. Sweethearts and Band Tour coming up. But then it's Spring Break and hopefully I'll have a family activity or two to share. :) Until then...Have a happy day! :)
