Faith

I taught the new song "Faith" in primary a month or so ago and I decided to make little flowers for the kids to take home to remind them about the words.  On the front, I had the saying, "FAITH is like a little seed, if planted it will grow."

They turned out really cute, but they were TONS of work.  I found green duct tape, so I taped up little popsicle sticks for the stems.  Then I cut out 80 flowers (front and back) and little leaves as well.

I glued the flowers and the leaves onto the sticks, then glued floral foam (is that what it's called) into the bottom of each little flower pot.  I found those pots at the dollar store.....12 for $1.   Then I placed the sticks into the foam, put rocks on top of that, a few strands of Easter grass, and topped them off with 2 tootsie rolls.  I even put a little butterfly on each flower....so cute, if I do say so myself!

I tied cute ribbons around each one and glued the saying onto that.  I made 40 of these little buggers, and while they were fun to make and hand out......please don't let me do it again.....  :)

So cute! But it always seems like simple projects end up taking so much longer than you think they will! Good job!
