Dallin's Senior Pictures 2018

Dallin wasn't too excited when he found out that I was taking him to get senior pictures, but this is a parent's right, of course.  There are no exceptions!  And I loved how they all turned out!
Enjoy!

What a good-looking kid, if I do say so myself!
We love you Dallin!

Dallin's Junior Prom 2018

Dallin took Sadie Durham to Prom this year.
They are such good friends (really good, actually!) and I'm so glad they went together.
They had tons of fun.

Here's Dallin before the big date

Dallin went and picked Sadie up a little early because Jason Forbush was driving, and he lives in our neighborhood.  So I was able to snap a picture before they actually left for the evening.  (That hardly ever happens, so I was excited!) :)

Dallin and Sadie (So cute!!)

This is the group who went together.
Jason Forbush, ?, Dallin, Sadie, Hunter VanBeekum and Sadie ?

And here's a close up.  What a beautiful bunch of kids!

I made Dallin get dance pictures taken, and I think they turned out so well!  What a cute couple!

They all had a great time together!  Senior year is about to end!
(Kind-of sad, but exciting too!) :)

Brandon--Snow College SBA

So Brandon applied to be a Student Body Advocate (SBA) for next year at Snow College.  And guess what?  He made it!  He had to be interviewed and everything.  I think there are about 20 students or so on the committee. This will be a great leadership opportunity for him, and he will also receive a scholarship for being on it.  He will have to work 6 hours or so per week next year in the office, plus more hours planning and preparing the year's activities for Snow.  He's pretty excited about it.

Snow College invited all the newcomers (for next year) and their parents to a dinner/inauguration event in March.  So Todd and I drove down to Ephraim for it.  It was actually really neat to be there.  The outgoing committee was honored, and the incoming committee was welcomed. It was really cool and I'm really glad that we went.

This was the outlined program for the evening

The president of Snow College even spoke. It was awesome! After the presentation was over, the college fed us all a nice dinner.  It was a really memorable evening and it was great to be able to spend the time with Brandon too.

It was a really fun evening, and I'm so glad we were able to go and show our support for Brandon.
(Even the weather cooperated!)  Congrats son!  You're going to be awesome!

These are just a couple of pictures of Brandon eating his birthday cake.  He actually had a final on his actual birthday, so we celebrated it after he came home from Snow.  21 years old!

Happy Birthday Brandon!  We love you! :)

Easter 2018

The week before Easter, we took our family to the Jordan River Temple's open house.  The temple has been being renovated the last couple of years, and because of that, the church is having a re-dedication in May.  Before it's dedicated, anyone can go inside and walk through.  It was a really fun experience to go as a family!

Kyle and Me

At the end of the tour, we were able to stand in front of a picture of the temple and take a family picture!  It was awesome and it turned out great!  (We missed Eric and Andraea!)

Melissa and Grandma Johnson

And then we had Easter...

Eric and Andraea were here for the weekend, and before they came, Eric asked me if the Easter Bunny was going to bring him and Andraea a basket too.  (My almost 24 year old! HA!)  Of course the answer was YES!  Here's a picture of the 6 baskets! :)

Brandon wanted a Black Panther shirt...so that's what he got. :)

And Dallin did too

Jacob got some new Yugioh cards

Kyle got a new game for his 3DS

Eric and Andraea (Eric is such a goofball! HA! But that's one of the reasons we love him!) :)

Melissa and Todd

I love when all of these kids play games together.  It just makes my "mommy heart" smile!

And here's a picture of Dallin and Brandon in their new Black Panther shirts!  Funny kids!

We had a great Easter weekend and it was wonderful spending time together.  It was also General Conference weekend and so we all watched conference together.  It was awesome! Conference was so good! I'm so grateful to know that we have a living prophet who leads and guides this church and who receives direct revelation from God on our behalf.  But also I'm so thankful that I can receive personal revelation as well! What a blessing!

And of course, I'm thankful for my crazy family!  I am one lucky mom! Happy Easter!
