Elder Brandon Jones

I really haven't posted many pictures of Brandon on my blog.  I don't know why.  I guess it just takes me awhile to get something accomplished!  All of these pictures were taken throughout his first year and I don't really know the names of the people (for the most part), but I knew that I needed to put some pictures of Brandon on my blog (for posterity, of course!)  And because I miss his cute little face!

Enjoy these pictures of my missionary son!

Zone Conference (or something like that.) :)

This picture was taken at the very beginning of Brandon's mission.  He helped one of the christian churches with a service project and wasn't shy about showing them "his moves."  Funny Brandon!  This was in Flint, Michigan.

These next few were taken in the MTC.  I just love this boy!

In Flint with his companion....

One of Brandon's favorite souvenirs from Flint!  I don't even want to talk about why the "L" is a "gun!" UGH!

"Get Out Our Hood!"  A little scary!

Brandon was able to perform his flute at one of the zone conferences.  I really miss hearing him play his instruments around the house!
(I never thought I'd say that!) HA! :)

The people in Flint weren't allowed to drink the water because it was full of lead.  Luckily Brandon could buy bottled water (and stand on it for some strange reason)!  :)

His zone, maybe? :)

Brandon's a jedi!

Michigan State University

I'm not sure what area he was in for this next picture.  It was probably Chelsea, Michigan.

On his birthday this year (which happened to be a P-day), Brandon and his companion visited "Hell, Michigan!"  For real!
"Greetings from Hell!"  (Hilarious!)

This is a picture of a little church house in "Hell" where people go to get married!  (Just so they can say that they got married in "Hell.") HA!

Brandon's Exit Visa from "Hell."  Whew!  I'm glad he didn't have to stay! :)

Brandon's first baptism!

Another P-day...touring the Jiffy Factory.

And these are just some pictures of Brandon that we asked him to take of himself.

What a good lookin' kid!  We love you Brandon!  We are so proud of you!  (As of this post, Brandon has been out on his mission just barely over 1 year!)
  Happy Hump Day Elder!

Happy 22nd Eric! :)

Well, Eric turned 22 years old on June 5th!  Oh my gosh!  I really can't stand it that my kids are growing up!

Eric wanted a strawberry cake...

I don't think Eric is ever serious! HA!

Dallin and Jacob

And you'll never guess who this is?  Yep, you're right!  It's Kyle! (that stubborn boy!) :)

These are the faces that I am left to deal with!  It's a good thing I love them all!

Melissa and Eric

Happy Birthday to my amazing 22 year old son!  We love you Eric and couldn't be more proud of who you are...and who you are becoming!

Memorial Weekend 2016

Guess what?  School is over!  (I know, right?)  :)

Here is a snapshot of Jacob at the last honor roll assembly.  And by "last," I mean, "the end," "over," "no more," "nada" because he is finished with Arcadia Elementary!  Jacob has graduated from the 6th grade and is leaving Arcadia for good. I'm so proud of him for all he has accomplished, but I have very mixed emotions about him leaving Arcadia behind. I always knew this day would come, but now that it's here, I can hardly believe how quickly the time flew by.  6 more years from now and my "baby" will graduate from high school!  (Oh my gosh!  I can't think about that right now! Stop bringing it up!) :)

Here are a couple of pictures of the graduation gift I gave to those couple kids who graduated this year!  Remember last year and the Jones Soda?  So cute!

"Hats off to you graduate!"

School ended on May 28th and the next day Wendy and Anthony (and their family) arrived in SLC for a visit.  They couldn't stay long, but it was still awesome to spend some time with them.

We got together on Sunday night and had ice cream sundaes!

Riley even came and brought her new baby.  Her name is Aleya and I think she was about 6 weeks old at the time.

A close up of Aleya.  What a sweetheart!

Todd, Eric, and Wendy (we are such party animals!) HA!

And Alexis holding Aleya.

Moriah looked so cute holding Aleya.
What a lucky baby, huh? :)

It was fun to have Wendy and Anthony here.  I always love it when they come and visit.  And now...let the summer begin! :)
