Thanksgiving 2014

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Ryan and Malissa's house in Stansbury Park.  They just bought a house out there.  It is beautiful (by the way)!  And we had so much fun!

(from left to right)  Kyle, Brandon, Jacob, Dallin, and Zach

Grandpa Jones, Sophie, Mike, Annie, Shauna and Anissa

And here is more of the family...

And a few more...

And these are all the pies!

Brandon (in front) and Dallin (in back)

Ryan and Malissa's basement is unfinished, but Ryan had a couple of swings hung from the beams of the ceiling.  The kids had a blast swinging on them!

Kyle and Spencer

Cute Sophie!

And sweet Aubrey!

Owen and Parker had a blast playing outside with a bunch of "wood"  :)  Boys!

Grandpa Jones, Rob, and Mike.  (Rob was really the only one asleep...Grandpa and Mike just pretended for the picture.)

Parker found the Spiderman stuff...and other toys too.

Aubrey couldn't resist the "knight" costume...

And even I got into a couple of the pictures!
Me, Anissa and Emma

Highlight Posters!

I cleaned out a corner in our room where I have kept various posters of the kids and their projects.  I decided I needed to get rid of them, so I just took pictures, so I could remember them.  This is Kyle's poster when he was highlighted in the 3rd grade!

This is a poster that Kyle did for one of his assignments.  He chose Snakes!  He had to write down 3 reasons why people should be or shouldn't be afraid of snakes.

He decided that people should be afraid....very afraid!   :)

And here is a highlighted poster of Jacob from first grade.  I can't believe these kids have grown up so quickly!

Jacob's Kindergarten poster....(which is mysteriously missing several pictures.  Hmmm).

And here are a couple of Science Fair projects!   Dallin did this one in 5th grade.

And here's Kyle's Science Fair Project from 5th grade.

And this is a poster that Dallin made for me several years ago for my birthday.  It was so sweet!

And these last two posters are just ones that I made for RS, but I thought they were cute, so I took pictures.  :)

And now they've all been thrown away!  Kind-of sad...

Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween!  Here are a few pictures of our Halloween activities throughout the month!

First, a picture of Jacob with a lot of hair!  What a cool dude!

These were taken at Brandon's Fall concert.  He borrowed a costume from his band teacher, Amber, and decided to be Tigger.  I bet he was sooooo hot up there.  (What were you thinking Brandon?)

Here he is with his good friend, Sam, who just happened to be Aladdin.  Fun times.  They performed a duet and they were amazing!!!

Mom and "Tigger" and Grandpa Jones photo bombing on the left.  (I liked it, so I decided to keep it!)  :)  It's ok Grandpa.  We love you!

Here are a few pictures of Dallin's Fall concert.  No costumes for this one, but it was awesome just the same!  This is one of the numbers where he played the clarinet.

But he played the piano most of the night...

Oh, and one more of Brandon in his bunny ears for the play, Shrek.  He participated in the pit and they were absolutely amazing!!

(And there's Jacob photo bombing Brandon's picture!)  HA!

Now on to Halloween night.  Kyle was Link from Zelda.  It was such a warm night this year that seriously, this is all Kyle wore trick-or-treating.  It was like a late summer evening!  AWESOMENESS!

And this is Jacob.  He was Knuckles from the game, Sonic.  He looked so cute.

The two "cool" brothers!

Sibling rivalry....gotta love it!  :)  (That's more like it!)  :)

Our decorated porch (amazing, right?)  HA!
I like this picture because poor Ziggy is sitting at the front door pleading, "please let me come out and play!"  So sad for Ziggy.   :(

This one in the front is the one that Dallin carved.  It's a shriveled Pikachu!  (It wasn't shriveled the whole time, just at the end of the month, when I finally got around to taking pictures of it....of course.)  Sorry Dallin.  It still does look like Pikachu though!  :)  Good job son!

More pumpkins from the porch...

Dallin wanted to be a missionary for Halloween!  He even wore Todd's old mission tag.

I love this picture!!!

And this is what Todd wore on Halloween night.  Hilarious!  Everyone in our neighborhood was like, "Is that our stake president?"  Yep, it is!!!  I loved it!

This picture was taken before we even started!  They already look tired!  Funny kids....

We had a very festive October with lots of Halloween activities!  Now onto Thanksgiving....what?  (How did that happen?)  Happy Halloween everyone!
